Access Terms

These plain-language terms explain how requests, payments, and access work for our private genealogy archive.
Access levels
Preview access is currently $5 and provides a limited look at one approved family tree; the administrator determines its scope and duration. Family Member access is currently $25 per month and provides ongoing access to one approved tree with the permissions assigned to the account.
Review and approval
Payment does not activate an account automatically and does not guarantee approval. The administrator verifies the family connection, payment, and requested tree before activating access.
Payment
Payment is completed outside this website through the provided Venmo link. The website does not store payment credentials and does not charge you automatically. Use the same name in the payment note and access request.
Monthly access and cancellation
Monthly access depends on confirmation of the current payment. To discontinue access, stop future manual payments and notify the administrator through the same channel used for approval. An account may be paused when payment cannot be confirmed.
Refunds and payment questions
Because payments are handled manually through an external service, refund requests and payment disputes are reviewed case by case by the archive administrator. If a request is not approved, contact the administrator for payment and refund review.
Acceptable use
Do not share sign-in credentials, bulk-copy the archive, publish restricted information about living people, or attempt to enter trees not assigned to your account. Permissions may be limited or revoked to protect family members and the archive.
Changes
Prices, features, and terms may change. Material changes will be presented on the site or communicated to members before affecting a later access period.
